I am interested in both astronomy and stargazing. Rhere is something very motivating about looking up at the night sky and:

1. realising how much is unknown or unsolved
2. as I go through all other stuff (though I think in a way my work is highly similar) not lose sight of (in my view) the most important questions
3. be unreasonably optimistic (unrealistic) about the next discoveries I will make
